Welcome to Essence of Ignition. By accessing this website or booking our 360° video booth services, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully.


1. Definitions

  • “We/Us/Our” refers to Essence of Ignition, a South African events and entertainment service.
  • “Client/You/Your” refers to the individual or organisation booking our services.
  • “Service” refers to any 360° video booth operation, setup, media creation, or related activity provided by Essence of Ignition.

2. Service Overview

Essence of Ignition provides 360° video booth experiences for private, public, and corporate events.
Services include setup, operation, video capture, overlays, lighting, props (where applicable), and instant digital sharing.

3. Booking & Payment

  • A booking is only confirmed once the required non-refundable 50% deposit has been paid.
  • Full payment must be made at least 48 hours before the event unless otherwise agreed.
  • Failure to pay on time may result in automatic cancellation of the booking.
  • Prices listed on the website or quotations are subject to change without notice.

4. Cancellation Policy

Client Cancellations


  • Deposits are non-refundable.
  • Cancellations made 7 or more days before the event receive a refund of additional payments (excluding deposit).
  • Cancellations made less than 7 days before the event are non-refundable in full.

Cancellations by Essence of Ignition


In the unlikely event that we must cancel due to emergencies, illness, equipment failure, or any situation beyond our control, you will receive either:

  • A full refund, or
  • The option to move your booking to a new date (subject to availability).

5. Amendments to Bookings

  • Clients may request changes to event time, location, or package up to 72 hours before the event, subject to availability.
  • Additional charges may apply for upgrades, extended hours, travel, or add-ons.
  • Changes requested within 72 hours may not be possible.

6. Event Environment & Requirements

To ensure safe and proper operation of the booth, the client must provide:

  • Access to power within reasonable distance
  • A stable, level surface
  • Venue permissions (if required)
  • Clear pathway for loading equipment

If conditions are unsafe or unsuitable, we reserve the right to pause or refuse operation until resolved. No refunds will be issued for time lost due to venue/client issues.

7. Operating Time

  • Setup and breakdown time is not included in your booked package hours.
  • If your event starts late due to venue or client delays, operating time will still end at the originally agreed time.
  • Extra time may be requested on the day at an additional fee (subject to availability).

8. Equipment Safety & Guest Conduct

  • Guests must follow the operator’s instructions at all times.
  • Dangerous behaviour, jumping, rough play, or intoxicated misuse may lead us to temporarily stop the booth for safety reasons.
  • The client may be held responsible for damage caused by guests due to negligence or misuse.

9. Weather Policy

For outdoor events:

  • A weatherproof, covered space is required.
  • The booth cannot operate in rain, high winds, or unsafe weather.
  • If safe indoor alternatives are unavailable, the booking may be paused or cancelled with no refund.

10. Media Capture & Ownership

  • All media recorded (videos, images, overlays) is delivered digitally.
  • Clients own their event footage.
  • Essence of Ignition will only use footage for marketing, portfolio, or promotional use with the client’s explicit consent.
  • Sharing of videos may depend on internet availability at the venue.

11. Privacy & POPIA Compliance

We handle personal and event information in accordance with South Africa’s Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).

12. Limitation of Liability

Essence of Ignition is not liable for:

  • Losses caused by venue restrictions, power outages, or load shedding (In the event of load shedding that prevents us from operating, you will receive a full refund, including your deposit, or you may choose to reschedule your booking at no additional cost)
  • Access limitations or client instructions
  • Guest injuries resulting from unsafe behaviour
  • Indirect or consequential damages

In all cases, our liability is limited to the amount paid for the booking.

13. Website Use

By using our website, you agree that:

  • All content is protected by copyright
  • You may not copy, download, or reuse content without permission
  • We may update information or pricing at any time
